Problem with 2-factor authentification
Had a problem with 2-factor authentification viaSMS: SMS did not arrive. Support team swithed this function off after my request (big THANKS goes to Anni).
2-factor authentification via app works just fine.
Wish I didn't forget names the agent was great!!!
So stupid I didn't listen to her name, totally impressed with her!

I signed up for the 14 free day trial on 3rd July unfortunately I didn't find the information useful quite soon into the trial so cancelled my subscription on the same day, which I have an email to prove. Then 14 days later they took payment of 79.00. I have sent an email but I am still waiting on a response.

MyHeritage took £130.80 out of my credit card a/c without any warning or notice to me. I'm 80 years old and being stressed out by trying to get this money refunded. It's normal practice in the UK to cancel within 14days for a product that's not required. They are making my life difficult in this heatwave.

Every time I call, I'm prompted to selected a number that best describe my needs but after making a selection the phone abruptly hangs up in my ear. Its nearly next to impossible to reach a sales agent on line phone and all the other numbers provided for this cite are disconnected. I think I'm better off with ancestry.com at least their agents answer and all their listed number are in working order.

I have been charged £114 after the free trial expired. It happened automatically as I didn't want a subscription for a full year. I just came back from a 2 week holiday and had no solid signal to get as far as cancelling the free trial to the Complete Pack; I called customer service and was kindly answered but when pushed to the next level for disputes. The woman who answered didn't even hear me out and just simply offered 6 months extension (I told her I cancelled it and don't want that. I just wanted my results to share with my family), for a site that's about "people" and "bringing families closer" this is the exact thing to drive that apart. I feel very disappointed, as if I've been just treated as some customer trying to "get a deal" or something... I just want my money back. I've been barely able to budget without it this week as I'm also moving home so that kind of spending is unwarranted.

Competent service and exceeding expectations.
I had two issues, one about automatic membership renewal, the other about help in populating my family tree. I called the help line and was talking with a real person within a couple of minutes. Person was knowledgeable and willing to help and handled both issues very quickly. I truly appreciate his expertise and willingness to help, thank you and bravo!

I found out that I have Mediterranean connections. My Great grandfather was a prisoner of war. I know the house where my Grandfather was born, the name of his mother. The building where she was sent to work. The name of my Great grandfather.

I tried to get a refund for days now. They won't respond to any of my mails and obviously don't care about their customers. I decided to take legal action soon because this is just unbelievable!
